Enterprise Architecture within FTI will set a strategic framework with alignment to business strategy, processes, information, and technology to enable its underlying goals. This role will collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and IT teams to design and optimize our enterprise systems and applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

Must be trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence stakeholders. Able to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architectures. Skilled in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C/C++. Knowledgeable in data science languages/tools such as SQL, R, SAS, or Excel.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience: 8+ years overall experience with 2+ years as an Enterprise Data Architect or a similar role with a focus on large scale projects and initiatives. Experience in platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, & Dataiku. Master's degree desired but not required.

Travel: Less than 20% per year

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the definition, implementation, and maintenance of an Enterprise Architecture framework.
  • Defines and implements technology across analytics, data engineering, and data platforms.
  • Supports data management, data modeling, data warehousing, and master data management initiatives.
  • Creates strategic plans for improving data integration, data quality, and data delivery.
  • Guides team members in the design of data structures, including databases, warehouses, and lakes.
  • Simplifies the existing data architecture while delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Improves information flows, including ease of access and use of information assets.
  • Supports artificial intelligence initiatives including the use of large language models and machine learning.
  • Contributes to data governance, data standards, and data literacy initiatives.
  • Advances business glossary, data catalog, and data lineage within FTI.
  • Provides guidance on security, privacy, data management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conducts proofs of concept and pilots efforts to assess feasibility while defining benefits.
  • Establishes cloud architectures within Azure & GCP as part of a cloud governance committee.
  • Develops and establishes technical and business process metrics to measure results.
  • Creates and presents position papers on relevant technology.
  • Mentors team members through the use of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and information architectures.
  • Stays well educated on architecture and application trends within the industry.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
