JOB PURPOSE: '

Responsible for directing and managing the global treasury and risk function, including day-to-day activities, liquidity and long-term strategy. Lead teams to implement process improvements, practical solutions and best practices relative to treasury, risk and the enterprise strategy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team and Project Management - Lead, manage, coach, mentor, develop and direct the work of the global treasury and risk management team members.
  • Treasury/Cash Management - Ensure adequate liquidity to meet the company's global operating and growth needs, while minimizing cost. Responsible for the design and implementation of best practices in treasury processes, including cash management, cash flow forecasting, investments and banking.
  • F(X) Risk Management - Responsible for leading and providing oversight of the development and maintenance of the company's foreign exchange risk management and hedging program.
  • Insurance Risk Management - Develop, recommend and maintain the property, casualty, FINPRO, workers' compensation, and general liability insurance structure, including retention and limits, in order to protect the company against risk exposure. Understand and articulate risk/reward tradeoff to align with and support business strategies and organizational risk tolerance.
  • Capital Markets - Assist with the management of all aspects of capital structure and debt, including strategy, lender relationships, rating agencies, covenants and the share repurchase program.
  • Internal Controls - Prepare, review and maintain policies and procedures to ensure proper controls for cash receipts, disbursements, investments and all other treasury and risk activities and processes.
  • Other Activities - Perform analysis and provide strategic perspective related to ad-hoc activities, mergers and acquisitions, special projects, etc.

JOB DIMENSIONS:
  • Lead and develop a team of 4 professionals.
  • Manage lender and rating agency relationships associated with revolving credit and term loan facilities, private placement notes and public debt.
  • Work closely with the tax department to ensure alignment of tax and treasury strategies in order to drive the best outcomes for the company.
  • Work closely with the external reporting and lega team for treasury and risk related SEC reporting disclosures.
  • Build relationships and collaborate across the enterprise to support working capital strategies, acquisition and other due diligence, risk improvement plans and overall enterprise strategy.
  • Prepare and present updates for senior management and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Limited travel (< 10%)

SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field required. MBA or CPA preferred. CCM/CTP credential preferred.
  • 15+ years of related experience desired, with at least 5 years within a publicly-held multinational company.
  • Strong technical knowledge in all aspects of treasury and insurance risk management within a global business, including foreign exchange risk, cash management and repatriation, and financial and operational controls.
  • Ability to think strategically with a "roll up your sleeves" leadership style.
  • Attention to detail, ability to simultaneously see the big picture.
  • Enthusiastic, curious self-starter with analytical decision-making skills.
  • Team player with high integrity and the ability to inspire and drive positive relationships across the department, organization and with external partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
