Job SummaryThe Director of Development will be responsible for cultivating relationships with donors and coordinating specialized and ongoing programs to raise funds, from individuals, corporations and foundations. Reporting to the Executive Director of Individual Engagement, the Director of Development will be responsible for strategic and identification, and management of a portfolio of 150+ prospects. In coordination with Advancement colleagues, the Director of Development also will encourage the full participation of his/her portfolio in the annual giving and alumni relations programs, moving them through the solicitation cycle and providing appropriate follow-up and stewardship activities that ensure donors' continued commitment to the college.
