Credit Risk Review Specialists are responsible for providing independent and objective evaluations of credit risk, credit controls and credit administration.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Review more complex loan portfolios - - Continuous Review, Commercial Finance, Retail (75%)
• Assist with CRM Report preparation and meetings with Internal Customers. (10%)
• Completion of Annual Regional/LOB Managed Assessments (5%)
• Attend CRM, RM LOB Team, Risk Committee(s), PLR & Other meetings (5%)
• Administrative Duties/Other Projects/Training (5%)
• Provide coaching and training to team members (5%)

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job:

• Six-Eight years previous banking related experience: Credit Risk Review (Commercial/Retail/Small Business/Franchise), Underwriting Experience, Commercial Lending experience (CRE & C&I), Retail/Small Business Lending experience; Problem Loan/Workout experience; Loan Documentation; Loan Operations; Regulatory/Examining experience
• Very High oral and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact with Internal and External Customers.
• Understanding of Industry, Market, and Economic trends
• Very High language skills - ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business journals, financial reports, legal documents, and regulatory issuances.
• Excellent task management and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with little, if any, supervision.
• Provide leadership to Credit Risk Review Specialist I position, including, but not limited to coaching, training, and motivating.
• Participate in Special Credit-Related Projects
• Proficient Computer Skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's Degree - Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Prior Regulatory Experience
• Credit Risk/Loan Review Certification
