RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Credit Analyst I in Plano, TX. This is a hybrid role.Duties:- Credit Analyst I will specialize in determining a business's or individual's credit worthiness
- Looks at all past credit purchases and, based on their findings, decides if a person or a corporation is worthy to receive a loan
- Reviewing numerical figures as a part of their daily function
- Assess credit risk
- As a Credit Analyst I, you will aggregate and evaluate data related to credit and credit risk to support organizational decision-making
- Ensure that approved accounts remain in good standing
- Establish terms for approved credit requests
- Applies defined procedures to independently investigate, analyze, and resolve queued fraud and financial risk issues
- Makes outbound calls to customers to validate payments transactions
- Writes complete, succinct, and accurate case notes
- Reviews other risk agent's work to either approve or provide feedback
- Provides empathetic, accurate, and efficient resolutions to the most complex and escalated customers
- Handles questions or escalations on suspected fraud from other business units
REQUIREMENTS:
- The majority of credit analysts have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, or Accounting
- Experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry (3-5 years preferred) with the ability to identify the behaviors and signs of risky financial transactions or accounts
- Excellent research and investigative skills
- Proficient use of technology with exceptional internet research skills
- Ability to make independent and sound decisions and think on your feet in a dynamic environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
