Summary:

The primary function of this position is to read, interpret, and complete bid contracts and solicitations for the National School Lunch Program. This includes working with other departments to obtain information needed and verifying Tyson's availability to comply with contract terms and conditions. Response work up includes creating letters, obtaining signatures, and assuring compliance with company policies. Responsibilities include ensuring that requested products meet bid specifications; as well as, providing pricing and product data in excel. Responsibilities will also require maintaining proper records of commonly used bid materials and accurate information on all outside (third party) bidding systems, submitting renewal non-renewal letters and all correspondence needed around the bid contract, and seeking award information, competitive pricing information, and verifying that the data is entered into BidAdvantage.

This role is also responsible for the verification of government funds to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. In addition,

Notifying other departments of their roles in regard to maintaining compliance with each bid's terms and conditions. Uploading signed state participation agreements and signed contracts into Internal Data Management systems. Supporting K12 Price Team with various tasks.

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

Experience: 3 plus years of office experience; 1 year of Tyson office systems preferred.

Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), Adobe Acrobat DC (editable).

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent professionalism while communicating.

Special Skills: Must be self-motivated with well above average organizational skills in the face of high-pressure deadlines. Must naturally display composure and accuracy while meeting required deadlines. Work is extremely varied and requires the interpretation of technical and detailed guidelines policies and procedures. Position is responsible for analyzing and solving complex problems.
