Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our team and support the engineering, installation, and commissioning of automated finishing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls systems, PLC programming, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in controls engineering, preferably in the manufacturing or automation industry.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning activities (approximately 25% travel required).
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to automated machinery (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
