Assist in ensuring high-quality behavioral health programming and outcomes through collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Provide training and quality assurance feedback to support clinical understanding of health information documentation, coding and outcomes to drive timely and effective service delivery. Ensure clinical services are strengths-based, culturally proficient, and trauma-informed. Work to implement integrated (people and technology) workflows that meet practice standards, rules and requirements, and the values and needs of stakeholders.

STARTING SALARY: $60,605-$71,300 /year

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Employ Quality Management, Lean/Six Sigma, and Human Centered-Design strategies to help design effective and efficient service delivery systems that meet clinical program goals and outcomes.
  • Provide training support to staff, including creation and maintenance of clear instruction materials and workflows regarding procedure steps and service documentation expectations.
  • Conduct case reviews and internal audits to assess adherence to clinical practice standards and expectations (quality assurance checks) and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide lifecycle project management of assigned Quality Systems initiatives.
  • Participate in committees and activities for the collaborative design and implementation of clinical programs, services and and procedures.
  • Maintain an environment that is strengths-based, recovery and resilience-oriented, culturally and trauma-informed, anti-racist, and supports the health and wellbeing of everyone.
  • Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • LCSW, LPC or LMFT - or
  • Master's Degree or higher in social work, psychology, or similar field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the behavioral health field; or
  • Master's Degree in another discipline with minimum 3 years of direct experience in the behavioral health field plus demonstratable experience in behavioral health or SUD program development.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of three years' professional experience in behavioral health. Prior experience in a community mental health setting strongly desired.
  • Proficient in behavioral health documentation, regulatory compliance, and coding practices. Familiarity with and ability to apply regulatory requirements specific to the State of Colorado & the Behavioral Health Administration, CCBHC or similar.
  • Exceptional writing abilities with experience in project management and/or training material development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of behavioral healthcare practices and a passion for project design and scoping.
  • Competency in mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) diagnoses.
  • Experience in human-centered design and continuous quality improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Will require virtual and in-person activities. May require occasional evening or weekend hours.
