Job Description Summary
Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities - Production Area Cleaner:
•\tWorks safely and must be aware of surroundings
•\tSanitizes production rooms and controlled environments in accordance with procedures
•\tSanitizes and cleans Laboratory areas (Chemistry, Bio/Micro), and sterility suites
•\tSanitizes and scrubs machines, tables, counters, trash containers, component bins, and conveyors
•\tMops and scrubs floors, doors, walls, and ceilings
•\tOperate Ride-on floor scrubber in warehouse and production facility aisles
•\tClean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors
•\tGathers and removes trash from all production areas and laboratories
•\tCompletes documentation and records of sanitation
•\tMay be responsible for the cleaning & janitorial services to support non-production/office areas
•\tCleans processing equipment, overhead pipes, and conveyors in both dry and wet processing areas
•\tClean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots
•\tPerform pre-op swabbing as required
•\tGather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper and damaged product resulting from distribution functions
•\tDocuments and verifies activities supporting Company Food Safety & Quality Assurance Programs
•\tMust be able to work off of aerial equipment as much as forty feet above the ground.
•\tMaintains plant cleanliness (Empties scrap bins into compactor - cleans empty bins - cleans compactor area)
•\tCarry out daily Hygiene checks throughout the warehouse
•\tReports to Sanitation Supervisor daily
•\tInterface with all employees, USDA officials, and QA/QC
•\tMaintain a positive work environment for your co-workers
•\tBe willing to take an active role in team building within our sanitation staff
