Marsh Consulting Solutions provides risk management consultation to global leaders in retail, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, financial, and hospitality industries. Our consulting practice regularly engages with Fortune 500 companies to solve for the most complex of casualty claim issues.

Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position which can be based in multiple locations across the US.

Claims Sales Leader

What can you expect?

  • The Claims Sales Leader builds the US-sales plan responsible for $50M in annual sales of claims consultancy services, including marketing, campaigns, and owns an individual sales goal of $2.5M or greater.
  • This position is responsible for architecting custom solutions to meet client goals in the areas of claim closure, early intervention, TPA marketing and program design, operational assessments and claim audit projects.
  • The position is the most senior consultant engaged to evaluate workers compensation and liability claim programs and identify and lead solutions to achieve optimized program performance.
  • The senior Claims Sales Leader is responsible for establishing all aspects of project work plans, budgets, project assignments, and in some cases the client facing deliverables. This position is supported by claim consultants and analysts.
  • The position is the most client facing in project delivery, often times interacting with risk managers, claim directors, and C-Suite executives.

We will Count on you to:
  • Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring all aspects of delivery are maintained (scope, schedule, and budget).
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for quality of all work deliverables assigned and collaborates with project team members to develop performance and mentor for the growth of less senior team members.
  • Challenge existing practices and drives innovative solutions in order to achieve quality, compliance, and performance optimization within the consulting practice.

What you Need to Have
  • BA/BS degree in related discipline
  • 5+ years of sales or client relationship management with large, sophisticated client organizations
  • 5+ years of significant industry experience in claims, possessing a familiarity of jurisdictional laws, and knowledge of processes necessary to resolve open claims.
  • Prior leadership role in claims or risk for an employer or claim administrator, Demonstrated project management expertise and technical claim background in workers' compensation and/or liability claims.

What will make you stand out:
  • Possess deductive reasoning skills and prior experience in the evaluation of challenging claim situations and environments, as well as the development of successful solutions to address.
  • Experience in RMIS as an end-user in a claim environment.
  • Capabilities in demonstrating complex concepts and outcomes visually via Excel or PowerPoint and to be able to demonstrate experience in working with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $123,600 to $263,600.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
