JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Professional to join our team, specializing in Industrial Boilers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth across the Americas.

  • Network Development: Utilize your existing network to identify potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to drive business opportunities.
  • Business Hunting: Pro-actively seek out and identify new opportunities for Industrial Boiler projects, staying ahead of market trends
  • Extensive Travel: Be prepared to travel extensively across the Americas to meet clients, attend industry events, and engage in business development activities
  • Project Development: Collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions that align with client needs
  • Sales and Negotiation: Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing deals, employing your persuasive communication and negotiation skills to achieve business targets
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, industry challenges, and potential growth areas to shape the business development strategy
  • Achieve Revenue Goals: Leverage your proven track record of growing business units to achieve revenue and growth targets set for Industrial Boilers
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and their satisfaction remains high
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest advancements


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development, specifically focused on Industrial Boilers
  • Existing network of relevant contacts in the Americas region, demonstrating your ability to leverage these connections for business growth
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing complex deals
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Americas as needed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technical teams to develop effective solutions for clients
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities to identify growth opportunities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
