A Business Analyst Intern will be responsible for supporting the company's Carelon Digital Platforms team. During the program our Interns will receive an orientation to the company and engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.

How you will make an impact:

• Analyzes business and IT needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
  
• Responsible for developing strategies, programs and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights and industry trends that support digital strategy.
  
• Responsible for gathering and assessing market requirements through competitive intelligence and emerging trends, stakeholder and consumer feedback
  
• Contribute to Strategy and Business Development Efforts
  
• Develop and Deliver Presentations to Key Stakeholders
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Being a rising Junior/Senior is preferred.
  
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer internship program
  
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program of study at an accredited college/university.
  
• Graduate student in healthcare domains specifically project management, data and business analytics or related fields.
  
• Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
  

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Students will be assigned to a specific group within the Carelon Digital Platforms organization based on skill set and need of the business. Students should have experience and education in:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.
  
• Responsible for developing strategies, programs and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights and industry trends that support digital strategic frameworks.
  
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
  
• Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
