The Business Messaging Group is looking for a Brand Strategist to join the Global Marketing team. They will be responsible for developing and defining the Business Messaging global brand, inclusive of WhatsApp Business and Messenger Business, and marketing strategy that reflect where we are now and where we want to be in the future. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of establishing and growing brands both at the foundational management and creative level, including expertise managing B2B brands.We're looking for someone who elevates the craft, influences and partners across the organization to connect the dots between marketing, product and strategy teams to fuel brand growth. They will be adept at balancing the need for exceptional work while keeping up with the pace of an organization famous for moving fast. The ability to think broadly about business and people problems at a range of zoom levels, solve through insight-fueled, measurable strategy, and communicate widely is key to success in this role. It will be critical that this person is able to unify teams around a strategic north star in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

<ul><li>Lead, develop and evolve global brand and design strategy and associated artifacts (e.g., toolkits, briefs and messaging frameworks) to anchor our brand in the mind and market, and inform brand activation throughout the customer journey across branded touchpoints</li><li>Ensure brand and campaign messaging is translated across different dimensions, including naming, design, creative, media and experiential</li><li>Collaborate closely with partners throughout the Business Messaging organization and across Meta, including Marcom, Marketing Insights, Enterprise Marketing, Product Marketing, and Product Design on projects and programs</li><li>Partner with external agencies, to define communication plans, briefs, message strategy, and frameworks and guide differentiated storytelling</li><li>Present to Marketing leadership, Product leadership and cross-functional teams</li><li>Create and identify global brand strategies that not only drive interest and capture new customers, but sustain existing long term relationships</li><li>Analyze, monitor and report on the competitive landscape to determine where our brand and products fit over time, where to target customers and how to have the greatest impact for our brand and business</li></ul>

<ul><li>Experience thinking broadly about business and people problems at a range of zoom levels, solve through insight-fueled, measurable strategy, and communicate widely is key to success in this role</li><li>Experience composing inspiring and innovative creative and design briefs</li><li>A portfolio of work (please include on your resume when applying) that showcases your brand strategy experience and campaign or program results</li><li>Experience with brand management, both strategic planning and creative development, and diving into research and insights, as well as thinking quickly and testing new ideas</li><li>Experience simplifying complex information into business narratives, with storytelling prowess</li><li>Experience accurately prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple campaigns or design-driven programs at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams through execution</li><li>Experience managing business brands and B2B campaigns</li><li>Experience working on global brands and developing strategies/work for multiple regions or markets</li><li>Avid user of messaging, including with businesses</li></ul>

<ul><li>Experience at a business messaging or customer service technology provider</li><li>Experience building new brands</li><li>MBA or Masters Degree</li></ul>
