Benefits Operations Manager will be a member of the Healthineers benefits/HR teams and will manage the benefit plans including:

• US Health, wellness, and group benefit plans

• US Defined Contribution and other deferred compensation plans

• Other US plans and programs

• CAN health and benefit plan

• CAN defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

• Other Plans

As a Benefits Operations Manager, you will be responsible for

Leading a team of benefit analysts responsible for the benefit plan and program operations to nearly 18,000 Siemens Healthineers in the USA and Canada.

  • Managing the benefits operations' function and end-to-end processes, including outsourced vendors, interfaces, budgeting, vendor payments, leave of absence process, audits etc.
  • Collaborating with our Health, Benefits and Retirement Plan Managers to continuously advance the programs we offer.
  • Leading complex organizational projects
  • Ensuring the administration of the benefit programs is compliant and adheres to company policies, plan documentation and applicable regulations.
  • Partnering with Human Resources and business to collaborate and support the organization.
  • Partnering with IT and driving improved technology solutions with our vendors to support the business and employee experience.
  • Working closely with our payroll team to ensure efficient and accurate payroll activity and accounting.
  • Ensuring thorough formal documentation for business processes and accurate records are maintained.
  • Conducting audits of data to ensure processes and policies are being managed effectively and data quality is maintained/improved amongst internal and external systems.
  • Leading compliance audits, required filings, and all other compliance related initiatives as required.
  • Managing and executing on the annual enrollment processes.
  • Maintaining data in vendor and HR systems to ensure correct eligibility and participate in System testing to validate the accuracy and flow of content.
  • Ensure the benefit operations functions prompt response to benefit inquiries and/or escalations.
  • Participating in periodic vendor stewardship meetings providing metrics and input for process improvement.
• Developing employee/HR/Manager Knowledge Articles related to benefit plans/programs.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of Benefits program experience in a large corporate environment.
  • Extensive benefits project management experience
  • Experience with benefit accounting
  • Strong knowledge of various benefit plan compliance areas and federal/state/provincial tax requirements.
  • People management experience training, coaching, and developing others.
  • Ability to partner with internal stakeholders within the organization and externally with vendor partners effectively.
  • Experience in a multi-vendor outsourced benefit platform environment.
  • Extensive experience with implementation and Workday and Ceridian including reporting, reconciliations, data monitoring, etc.
  • Process design and continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience with virtual/global team members is a plus.
