CUMULUS MEDIA | Atlanta is offering a great opportunity for an Assistant Producer/Board Operator for Rock 100.5's Bailey and Southside.Our ideal candidate should possess an extremely good work ethic, be a self-starter, and be highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Our Opportunity:

Rock 100.5 is looking for the tightest Assistant Producer/Board-Op in the business and someone that can add the perfect audio flavoring to one of the best Rock morning shows in the country, Bailey & Southside. You'll also be a voice as the show's 4th mic position! The Assistant Producer/Board-Op is also responsible for the hourly weather reports and sponsor reads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Live management and radio board operation production of the Bailey & Southside show's daily moment to moment content, sound and presentation
• Creation and updating of all 'in show' and 'out of show' imaging, produced teases/promos and production elements that support both the morning show and station contesting, promotions and imaging campaigns
• Managing the show's daily digital content on our website and social media platforms
• Actively participate in the development of daily content by developing & researching topics for discussion; conceptualize, write and produce appropriate segments
• Attend meetings with the station's program director to ensure content, tactical plans and image are consistent with the station's overall strategy
• Attending promotion, sales and station planning meetings to represent the show and provide clear communication between all
• Collaborate with show hosts and station program director to ensure that the show's structure and content is being presented in the strongest way possible for maximum ratings growth
• Running the board in a radio station control room broadcasting a variety of live or pre-recorded local and syndicated radio programs
• Playing all commercials as scheduled and maintaining a commercial and transmitter log
• Selecting bumper music, when needed, and back-timing pre-recorded programs for smooth transition back to live programming
• Monitors and updates weather, traffic and news reports into automation equipment
• Monitor for EAS Alerts, Ambers Alerts and breaking news
• Monitors the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from master control room
• Assists with adjusting signal and programming content to ensure transmission meets federally mandated broadcast standards

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• Some college radio or small market radio experience required/preferred
• Previous board operation experience preferred
• Audio production skills required
• Familiar with FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelines
• Proficient using computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, OpX, VoxPro, Adobe Audition or other audio editing and automation programs
• Familiar with audio mixers and remote monitoring systems for radio transmissions
• Flexibility in scheduling required; majority of the hours are in the evenings, weekends and holidays
