Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Administrative Coordinator to join our TEAM! As the Administrative Coordinator, we need someone ready to provide a variety of support such as managing daily cash applications, verifying and processing customer payments, tracking claims status, and researching and resolving account discrepancies.

Primary Objective

Ensures compliance with company credit policy, among other credit-related functions.

Primary Function and Scope

  • Variety of duties of credit and administrative duties to support the region.
  • Contact customers daily to ensure payment of outstanding accounts via phone, email, mail, or personally.
  • Researching and resolving account discrepancies with customers and the Sales Service Centre Managers. Review customer credit lines to establish increases or decreases when required.
  • Perform reviews on customer accounts and process pending orders within the policies of the credit department.
  • Work with cash applications group and bank for all NSF checks for Canada to get replacement payments from customers.
  • Enrollments of customers for EFT/wire transfers and refunds.
  • Generate and review all Sales Service Center location accounts receivable aging reports to ensure compliance. Review daily cash collection report set by the corporate office to make collection target by month-end.
  • Work with the cash application group on posting EFT payments from customers.
  • Collection duties such as establishing procedures and policies and keeping in contact with customers.
  • Develop a tracking system regarding product claims.
  • Report all credit issues to the Director of Credit and Credit Manager when required. Process customers to collections with the corporate office when required.
  • Manage relations with Sales Reps and Sales Service Center Managers on contractor projects and joint check account setup.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High School diploma or equivalent. Some college of accounting and administrative duties. Computer software knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Getpaid, Oasis, Fulfillment Credit Releases, On Demand and Virtual Terminal).

Competencies

Good verbal and written communication skills, math skills, organization skills, problem-solving, customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork, time management, leadership, training. Attention to detail and accuracy. Generally, perform a wide array of tasks.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance. The associate must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
