Accounting Specialist II (Accounts Payable)

Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking an Accounting Specialist II to perform detailed accounting assignments related to accounts payable and administrative expense accruals.

This position reports to the Supervisor, Accounting and is located at the corporate headquarters in Meridian, Idaho. #LI-Onsite

To be considered for this opportunity, you have the following:

Experience: 2 years' accounts payable experience and general ledger close functions for administrative expenses

Here's what your day/month may look like:

• Performs accounting tasks to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  
• Perform monthly general ledger close functions for administrative expenses.
  
• Perform research on invoices and supplier requests
  
• Complete journal entries and make appropriate corrections and adjustments as required.
  
• Review, analyze, post, and reconcile accounts and reports accurately and timely
  
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
