JOB OVERVIEW:

The Account Services Coordinator (ASC) has responsibility for managing accounts assigned to them. In addition to managing client orders and relationships, the ASC works together with Account Executives, Account Managers, Key Account Specialist, and the broader team, as appropriate, to identify proactive ways to drive revenue growth. This position requires exceptional organization and attention to detail, a problem solving approach, and a firm grasp of the client relationship and their gain as the core of our own success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage customer orders from receipt of PO through to customer's confirmed satisfaction, acting as the customer's liaison and internal advocate for efficient order processing and delivery. This includes interfacing with multiple internal departments to establish the priority of the customer. Work also includes entering orders, confirming shipping details, leading responses to customer concerns or complaints, and ensuring we have fulfilled the customer's needs.
  • Manage customer expectations by clearly conveying inventory, lead time, and ship date information on each order.
  • Advise clearly on out-of-stock materials and work with the sales and operations teams to explore workable alternatives.
  • Manage client documentation requests.
  • Work with their respective sales team to understand growth strategies for specific accounts and identify product opportunities.
  • Contribute to sales team cultural development and business planning.
  • Assist accounting on credit holds, pre-pay, or past due customers.
  • Manage customer specific sales and shipping requirements by ensuring account instructions are current in our ERP system.
  • Assist the efforts of Sales Support and Sales Ops with requesting and gathering key customer info on projected demand volumes and timing when needed.
  • Effectively work through a customer complaint from start to finish.

JOB EXPERIENCE:
  • 0-1 years of experience in an office and/or customer service environment.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Ability to multi-tasks simultaneously with prioritization and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skill with both internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous in all circumstances with external stakeholders/customers and internal team members.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach in taking initiative to ask questions, correct learning gaps, and advance their knowledge.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable working on computer-related tasks most of the day.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

EDUCATION:
  • Requires a high school diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or closely related field preferred.
