We are currently in need of a second shift experienced Shop Supervisor at our facility in Stoughton, Wisconsin supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is a Non-Union and salaried open position with periodic mandatory overtime. The selected candidate will oversee and manage the production, material flow, and quality control of production on the 2nd shift.

2nd Shift Foreman Hours: Monday-Thursday 3pm-2:30am

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shop operations and establish work priorities to meetproduction commitments.
• Establish shift objectives to supportlocation goals and objectives
• Ensure manufactured products meet or exceed quality standards.
• Order and supervise the necessary repairs and maintenance of equipment throughout the production area.
• Administer organizational policies and procedures at the department level.
• Work with engineering and quality teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production problems.
• Maintain records for the accuracy and timeliness of daily products, completed orders, and inspection reports.
• Enforce safety and housekeeping best practices and employee training programs.
• Drive manufacturing needs through safety, quality, delivery and cost with required results.
• Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the field organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent work experience plus two years of work experience supporting similar primary key position responsibilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Experience in managing safety programs, personnel development and activities to maximize work force efficiency.
• Proficient in reading blueprints.
• Experience in fabricating structural steel,
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI),
• Active member in American Welding Society (AWS) and/or American Institute of Steel Construction compliance,
