2024 Insurance Premium Audit Summer Internship Program

Locations: Warren, NJ, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Join the Everest 2024 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Insurance through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry's leading experts and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real world scenarios. The Program will run for 10 weeks beginning June 2024. Everest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

Your Impact & Opportunity

Everest Insurance has an opportunity available for a process support internship position to learn to manage administrative functions, perform premium audit review, learn how to perform premium audits, perform data analytics special projects, and learn how premium audit interacts and functions within an insurance company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review mail form audits
  • Monitors ENIC mailbox by distributing to correct recipient and handle any correspondence
  • Handle final audit assignments / batch tickets
  • Mail agent/broker/insured PAN's
  • Assigning / releasing audits to vendors
  • Shadow field auditor preforming physical audits
  • Data analytic projects (using advanced excel skills), as assigned

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications
  • You are a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Be proficient in office software, specifically the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • SharePoint development experience desired
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Utilize effective business communication skills
  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, and be attentive to deadlines
