Job Responsibilities
Pennoni Associates is current seeking a Welding/Structural Steel Inspector based out of our King of Prussia, NJ or Haddon Heights office with experience consistent, but not limited to:

 
Required experience is consistent with, but not limited to:

• Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications
• Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers
• Production of daily written shop reports

• Minimum Education: High School
• Minimum years of experience: 4-7
• Experience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector with D1.1 and D1.5 experience
• Computer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work well independently and with others
• Need reliable transportation
• Coating Inspection experience 
• Non-Destructive Testing/certifications -UT, MT, PT 

• Willing to work in the field performing some physical work. 
• Capable of working from a ladder or scaffold and work at heights. 
• Responsible and dependable with good character. 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills. 
• Read and write in English. 
• Dependable transportation. 
• Able to work construction hours, which may include overtime. 
• Willing to obtain additional certification if not already in possession of all relevant certifications.
