We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess where we sell Planova® virus removal filters and develops and manufactures related bioprocess equipment.

Job Description:

Asahi Kasei Bioprocess (AKB) provides pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers with a comprehensive suite of tools to maximize safety and improve yields of biotherapeutics during research, clinical and commercial-scale production. PlanovaTM virus-removal filters anchor a diverse product portfolio defined by quality, consistency and scalability. Additional areas of expertise include liquid chromatography, inline buffer dilution and oligonucleotide synthesis.

AKBA is currently looking to recruit and hire a Warehouse Intern, based in our Glenview, IL office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Packing items and preparing packages for shipment ranging from small boxes to palletized items.
  • Organizing inventory and performing cycle counts.
  • Building workstations, shelving, and tables for new production space.
  • Work with team leads to move into and organizing new Inventory and WIP spaces.
  • Other duties as assigned to assist assembly and order fulfilment.
  • Picking parts from inventory for WIP, and shuttling WIP from storage locations to production spaces.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs
