Majesco is seeking a VP, Technical Solutions and Enterprise Architecture responsible for leading the technical solutions architect and consulting team for Majesco's enterprise SaaS solutions. This dynamic team works alongside the sales team in supporting the sales process from the perspective of the Majesco Suite of Products and evaluates both the technology and business objectives of the customer to enable the success of the account. The successful leader will use their skills and past experience in technical sales, integration, cloud architecture, operations and proven customer value campaigns to deliver successful outcomes for Majesco's customers.

Majesco offers a Remote First working environment. This role can be performed from most locations in the United States.

About the Role

  • Directly participate in new sales (new prospects and or expansion of existing accounts) with sales executives/leadership as part of the pursuit leveraging cross functional solutions, technology, and/or platforms.
  • Showcase technical thought leadership and magnify our leadership position in the Insurance Technology space.
  • Directly participate in sessions (discovery, fitment, presentation) supporting sales executives/leadership focusing on strategy and tactics, to ensure alignment of the proposed solution to the customer's business and technology landscape needs (Integration, Cloud, Security, Operations).
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Majesco diverse product portfolio, technology architecture, API frameworks, tools and Cloud operations across all business units - Property & Casualty (P&C), Life, Annuity and Health (L&AH), Loss Control, Digital1st and Data Products
  • Senior Enterprise Architect Role model that will lead a team of technical solution architects for all technology deep dive sessions, POCs and Hackathons
  • Develop the future state technical roadmap collaboratively with the Product and Technology teams.
  • Define business solutions and models that address the customer requirements, leveraging the value of company solutions.
  • Capability to communicate in a consultative fashion resulting in increased pipeline metrics and overall campaign success.
  • Be a maverick and thought leader messaging the company as a leader for Insurance SaaS Solutions.
  • Perceived by the customer as being both customer centric and solutions oriented, bring tangible value in terms of industry/technical experience, knowledge, and expertise.
  • Provide business insight and technical expertise to the customer.
  • Speak from experience and offer insight on successes and failures relative to the customer's industry.
  • Instrumental in attracting and obtaining major new company business.
  • Act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical studies.

Deliver positive, quantifiable results for Majesco and its customers which will be measured across the following primary areas:

Customer Focus

  • Actively participate in all Sales, account planning and account review sessions
  • Collaborate and consult with Sales and Client Partners to accurately understand the customer's issues that are the impetus for them to look at Majesco's solutions
  • Collaborate with the customer's executive management team to advise them of current strategies being executed in large scale customer transformations
  • As the trusted advisor to the sales and client partner teams, provide best practices for client proposals by providing business value alignment and execution roadmaps
  • Persuasively articulate Majesco's technology vision and strategy and communicate its business value and impact
  • Collaborate in the preparation and delivery of proofs of concepts and demonstrations
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate key competitive differentiators, by solution, as defined by Majesco's cloud-based solutions and platform
  • Identify and propagate relationships with key partners within assigned accounts
  • Act as the Lead and POC for Customer for all technology, compliance and security due diligence needs

Technical Architecture and Solutions

  • Speak from experience and work closely with the Product and Technology teams on developing the future state technical roadmap
  • Work closely with - Cloud operations and Information Security teams to address technology, SOC compliance, Cloud security and due diligence exercise
  • Develop and manage state of the art Sandbox for technical deep dives, hackathons
  • Manage and maintain all demo environments and ongoing deployments
  • Support all RFP's and technology related questionnaire including - architecture, cloud operations and security
  • Actively participate in all internal Sales account planning and review sessions
  • Collaborate and consult with Sales to accurately understand the customer's issues that are the impetus for them to look at Majesco's solutions

Financial Targets

  • Collaborate closely with Peers and other Sales, Client Partners and Business Solution Leaders in planning, strategy to develop common understanding of the targets, forecast and goals
  • Directly collaborate and contribute to every sales opportunity to help exceed Quarterly and Yearly financial quotas and targets
  • Identify opportunities to help cross sell, up-sell, and/or migrate to cloud activities for existing customers

What You'll Bring

  • Typically, 15 or more years of IT architecture and industry-related experience, disciplines of Enterprise IT Management as well as a detailed technical knowledge around Cloud based architecture, low-code/no-code architecture, Microservices, API framework, Databases, and security administration aligned with rich customer focused experience.
  • A Solution engineering, technical sales, technology consulting background including client management, problem solving, crisis management, mediation amongst third parties and meeting facilitation is preferred. Experience working for Large financial institutions and or Property & Casualty or Life and Annuity Insurance Carriers or Consulting firms that service these Industries is a plus.
  • Experience working on systems such as Insurity, CSC, Guidewire, Duckcreek, Majesco, Unqork or similar platforms highly desired.
  • Able to align and articulate capabilities as they relate to business priorities and goals and understanding their business and strategic implications
  • Proven ability to handle escalated situations and brings challenging technical problems to a satisfactory resolution
  • Ability to interface with customers both at a technical and executive level
  • Proven comprehension of solutions and how they are designed to be integrated into the customer environment
  • Able to understand the most complex technical problems and provide solutions and create presentations
  • Ability to develop and mentor Architects
  • Outstanding and exceptionally strong technical leadership skills
  • Outstanding ability to work in a variety of high-pressure situations producing favorable outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent
  • Experience working with leading cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, XML, JSON, React
  • Experience with Progressive Web App and other emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of responsive web design, digital accessibility
  • Experience with integration method like REST, SOAP, Batch, SFTP, API Gateways
  • Experience with event driven architecture and Micro-services architecture
  • Exposure to NO/LOW CODE PaaS like Salesforce, Mendix, Outsystems
  • Industry certifications and technical accreditations (i.e., ITIL, Six Sigma, CISSP, SNIA, Java, Microsoft, AWS, Azure and or others) will be preferred
