Job Description Summary:
The Venmo Product Marketing team has the opportunity to shape the Venmo offering and the future of solutions for our customers, both consumers and businesses. As we bring more product offerings to market, we're looking for high performing product marketing lead to bring Venmo's evolving product experiences into the world. This role will be across all products that enable our existing base to use Venmo in new and exciting ways tied to our monetization goals. You will be responsible for launching new products that both meet the needs of our users and achieve company objectives - from conversion to ongoing engagement and retention in fun, uniquely Venmo ways.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Venmo portfolio of products related to consumer insights, target audience, category knowledge, priority feature set, value proposition and user metrics
  • Spearhead product releases by developing customer-driven go-to-market strategies across user experience, roadmap fit, commercial targets - executing flawlessly across all relevant customer touchpoints
  • Continuously improve and iterate on products and experiences, distilling user data, analytics, messaging testing to achieve business targets
  • Create unique product positioning, value proposition and messaging, own and build across full Venmo solution offering
  • Identify and drive research projects to answer key customer questions to inform critical business decisions around product experience, messaging, value proposition
  • Be an influential voice on Venmo leadership team, partnering across Marketing, Product, Analytics, Sales and other relevant stakeholders
  • Build and maintain competitor landscape story and educate key stakeholders to drive executive decisions -- including industry shifts, emerging markets and the overall category to drive future growth
  • Connect into the global PayPal marketing org, sharing best practices and collaborating where needed

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience (in tech, a digital brand or consumer brand)
  • Proven creative and operational leader with ability to work quickly and with agility. Flexibility and a self-starter mindset is needed
  • Act as a strong collaborator who has worked cross functionally to bring products to market
  • Proven track record launching category-defining products that achieved business objectives
  • Strong blend of analytical, strategic, innovative thinker who can bridge into marketing, creative mindsets.
  • Must be able to develop team, build relationships and effectively communicate across company disciplines
  • Must have B2C experience, MBA a plus
