Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for executing pilot plant trials and providing high level of support to product development team. Working closely with project managers and product development specialists, a pilot plant technician will be involved on planning, execution and follow-up on trials/tests in relation to innovation and renovation of products, processes and technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work with relevant colleagues to plan and execute product trials and tests
* Operate all Pilot Plant Process equipment including boiler
* Set-up, operate and clean equipment, tools and work area
* Document and manage trial records
* Ingredient weigh-ups, labeling and staging
* Mix, measure, adjust and homogenize batches
* Thermally process and package batches
* Comply with practices and procedures defined by Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices, Nestle Good Laboratory Practices, Nestle Integrated Management System and local regulatory requirements
* Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary work area
* Follow up and participate in evaluating results from pilot plant trials
* Interact with project teams and participate in project discussions as needed
* Reviews/updates SOP's and SSOP's

Experience and Education Requirements:
* 3+ years of previous filling or liquid/food processing production experience in in a manufacturing environment required, food/dairy industry preferred.
* Working knowledge of factory type equipment operations
* High School Diploma required, working towards college degree preferred

Preferred Skills:
* Good mechanical skills or aptitude
* Good teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization skills
* Good math and writing skills
* Computer literacy
