Summary:
The Systems Architect is responsible for architecting and implementing complex information technology solutions (including hardware and software) requiring state of the art technical and industry knowledge. They help to define programming standards and technology specifications, manage employees, mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, research new and upcoming related technologies, and develop related documentation. They work with a variety of technologies including front-end user interfaces, back-end application infrastructure and APIs, database systems, 3rd party applications, and hosted tools such as Workday and Microsoft's o365. The Systems Architect develops and manages data warehousing solutions, collaborates with business area subject matter experts, and identifies key technology improvement possibilities that could raise top of line business, reduce overhead, and improve organizational performance. They may also handle special projects tied to executive priority work, audit requests, and government regulation.

Starting salary for this position is $114,039 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Master's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience with development of multi-server software applications, web services, and advanced server or database administration; or
2. Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience with development of multi-server software applications, web services, and advanced server or database administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate must have experience with common development languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, C/C++, JSON, R, Java, XML, HTML/CSS; familiarity with MySQL, MSSQL and Oracle database development; experience with standing up and administering common web technology stack frameworks (including cloud hosted); familiarity with source code revision systems such as git; familiarity with containerization tools such as docker or podman. The preferred candidate will have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to develop complex programming solutions to difficult problems and estimate project resource requirements by project phase accurately. The preferred candidate will have experience with a full suite Workday deployment managing integrations and security administration. Applicants must possess a Master's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience with development of multi-server software applications, web services, and advanced server or database administration or a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience with development of multi-server software applications, web services, and advanced server or database administration.
