Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Supplier Quality Analyst/Principal Supplier Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The Supplier Quality Analyst (SQA) is the liaison between the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) and suppliers. This requires coordination between both the SQEs and the SQAs and between the SQAs and the suppliers. The SQEs should only engage with suppliers as technical support.

Essential Functions:

• Act as the liaison between SQEs and suppliers.
• Manage the SQ Tracker (Populate all columns in the tracker with the most current information (SCARs, Stock Purges), noted and dated. Complete updates daily by COB. Hold daily tracker SCAR/Stock Purge status meetings with SQEs. Work with suppliers to ensure responses are met within required timeframe.)
• Track deficits in SQ matrix.
• Upload required documentation and specifications in SAP.
• Work with SQEs to review and approve all RCCA, VCA, requests and responses from the suppliers.
• Other job functions as determined by the SQE team.

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a Supplier Quality Analyst level or a Principal Supplier Quality Analyst level.

Basic Qualifications for a Supplier Quality Analyst:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 3 years of quality or manufacturing experience OR a Master's degree and 1 year of quality or manufacturing experience
• Own dependable motor vehicle to travel to local suppliers
• Current and active DoD Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Supplier Quality Analyst:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 6 years of quality or manufacturing experience OR a Master's degree and 4 year of quality or manufacturing experience
• Own dependable motor vehicle to travel to local suppliers
• Current and active DoD Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience SAP, MES, TeamCenter, GD&T, Catia; Green Belt Certification
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes
• Experienced working with nonconforming material investigations and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• AS9100 Certification
