This seasonal temporary position is essential to provide support for program office operations. The goal is to ensure incoming communications are responded to promptly; application materials are processed timely and operation/event logistics are coordinated and executed with excellence. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for quality and prompt correspondence with applicants, students and parents; triaging incoming queries to appropriate personnel; and making outgoing calls as needed supporting program initiatives. A main component of the position is assisting with application processing, moving applicants through the enrollment funnel to include inputting student data from CollegeNet applications into SalesForce; filing and tracking supplemental application documents (transcripts, letters of recommendations); confirming receipt of documents and updating student files accordingly. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant's responsibilities include assisting with event planning (venue and catering reservations), coordinating and supervising event operations and field trip logistics; and submitting purchase order requests and invoices. While the program is in session, night and weekend work required responsibilities and will be required. Often the first point of contact stakeholders have with SSP and the University, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for an exceptional and complete applicant/student customer experience and facilitating the attainment of the program enrollment goal which directly impacts the Division's bottom line.
