Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$83,078.00-$132,924.00

Summary:

This position is responsible for designing, analyzing, writing code, modifying, and debugging CSG product applications. May perform release testing; interface with end-user to define requirements and complete technical documentation. Assist with detail architectural designs for software solutions and provide guidance on complex software development assignments.

Position Details:

• Designs, develops and tests new and enhanced software solutions using a variety of different technologies such as .Net applications, C#, C++ and Java.
• Research new technology and/or development tools.
• Performs product design activities on applications software which may require. extensive research and analysis.
• Implements designs with high quality.
• Performs server database design and programming.
• May perform operational duties on Software installation and delivery during maintenance windows.
• Engage in cross team activities ensuring completion of projects on schedule.
• Successfully implement Unit and System testing on applications.
• Create and maintain both customer and technical documentation for tools and processes created or modified.
• Provide customer support for existing and new monitoring infrastructure.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior to include building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSG's core competencies and values.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years development experience
• Experience in Object Oriented languages: .NET, C#, C++
• Experience with Linux
• Experience in databases such as: SQL Server or Oracle
• Experience with development tools: IDE, VS or Eclipse
• Experience with Source Control tools: Visual Studio.
• Experience in research and analysis, project planning and implementation
• Experience in Automation Frameworks
• Experience with SQL Profiler, DOT Trace Profiler, Unit Testing, DB Monitoring
• Low Level System Level programming
• Networking fundamentals
• Unit testing
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting production issues
• Working knowledge of both Windows and UNIX operating systems
• Knowledge in software development methodologies/processes, design, implementation, and documentation
• Ability to read and write scripts in a variety of scripting languages
• Ability to mentor and train new team members
• Working knowledge of web services, IIS 7, C# or related .Net programming languages, and database systems
• Good customer support and communication skills
• Ability to support 24x7 on call rotation
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing team environment
• Critical thinking capability
• Ability to work Independently
• Ability to recognize areas in need of improvement and solve complex problems related to interconnected software components

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Java
• REST/JSON experience
• Experience with Chef and/or Cloud computing

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience required
