Summary:

CSG International is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Ascendon Platform Management team. The Platform Management team is responsible for the creation and support of AWS accounts, pipeline automation, Windows Active Directory domains, Elasticsearch, and various other things. You will work with a fun and exciting team and be on the absolute cutting edge of technology.

Position Details:

What you will be doing:

• Working on a global team that supports 100+ AWS accounts, multiple product teams and new cloud development initiatives
• Operating existing cloud services such as building accounts, assisting during outages and engineering shared cloud services
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security
• Continuously learn and improve to drive innovation
• Create, govern and enable common technology and practices
• Embrace public cloud technologies demonstrating cost-effective and well-architected solutions
• Coordinate and communicate regularly with project team leaders and members
• Provide mentorship for junior level staff members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2-3 years of AWS experience
• Experience with Shell Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with Windows and Linux Administration
• Experience with Cloud Security models and best practices
• Other Valuable Skills
  • AWS Lambda (Python)
  • ElasticSearch or Elastic Cloud
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with dotnet and GO
  • API Integration
  • Network Troubleshooting Skills
  • Containers
• Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment
