How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...

The Sr. Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for analyzing price movement factors and pricing models, provide detailed analysis and commentary as it relates to product and/or customer profitability and develop and utilize pricing tools and models to ensure consistent application of pricing and profitability guidelines.

The Revenue Management Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Supporting channel-specific pricing and profitability process by applying dairy costing knowledge such as the Federal Market Order as it relates to SDF price change practice and procedures.
  • Administrating on-going maintenance of customer contracts / pricing programs, including amendments to add/delete products, change customer pricing, adjust master contract data, or other contract modifications. Maintaining a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract administrative obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner. Participating and supporting sales in the preparation of customer pricing actions.
  • Identifying and analyzing customer margin issues, through the loading of detailed customer / product specific data including master data, pricing, trade, and price / margin guidelines into a pricing management system. Assisting in developing margin improvement action plans, and working with Sales Management, as well as Category Managers to implement.
  • Developing KPI's, targets, and reporting packages. Providing management with monthly metrics including win/loss tracking, quote variance to guidelines, sell price trends, speed to quote, etc.
  • Providing ad hoc reporting to Senior Management to support their decision making process
  • Performing other related duties as required.
  • Working closely with the sales organizations, customers and other members of the corporate sales operations, as needed, to resolve price discrepancies.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have...
  • Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Management-related discipline. An advanced degree in business is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' finance experience in consumer packaged goods or similar industry. Candidate should also have critical problem solving, fact-based, and quantitative analysis experience with an emphasis on pricing design and administration.
  • Must be able to understand market movements, pricing, and overall financial analysis/levers, critical reasoning/thinking, ability to convert data into insights for sales/general management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration/influencing skills.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to administer and analyze pricing architecture across businesses, customers, channels.
  • Have advanced data mining computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) and SAP.
  • Be a strong team player who can work across multiple functions, disciplines, and within own team.
  • Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans; and (4) maintain strong verbal and written communication skills to assist on translating data insights for understanding.
