Job Summary:
The Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles. This person will communicate daily to the Shop Superintendent on all job activities. They should have a Safety-first priority and will attend and contribute to all pre-shift safety meetings.
Job Requirements:
Experienced in the repair of all construction equipment such as but not limited to; pumps, small tools, loaders, graders, dozers, excavators.
Good oral and written communication skills
Good organizational and record keeping skills
Experience:
2 years as an equipment mechanic
Desired Qualifications:
General knowledge of OSHA Workplace Safety programs including MSDS and PPE programs
Welding and fabrication experience
Computer skills such as: Microsoft Word, Basic Microsoft Excel, and Basic Microsoft PowerPoint
