About this opportunity:
The Shift Supervisor oversees all shift activities for the Refinery as well as being the off-hour ICS Incident Commander. This position provides guidance and direct supervision to the shift organization in the execution of daily work of the facility and the overall operations strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all shift activities.
  • Health, Safety and Environmental compliance management.
  • Monitor facility for performance deviations.
  • Review and execute Safety & Environmental audits.
  • Manage the off-shift work order approval process and maintain paper and electronic logs.
  • Assist Area Superintendents with operator training and personnel issues.
  • Observe and manage off-shift maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 4 years' operations and/or engineering experience in an industrial setting required.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Associates Degree, BA/BS or college coursework, Trade School are assets.
  • Experience in petroleum, transportation, or lubricants-related field is an asset.
  • Prior Shift Supervisor Experience is an asset.
