You:
You'll leverage your trade show sales experience, communication skills, and creative, strategic thinking to drive growth of our event sponsorships and exhibitors for special events and annual trade shows. You're collaborative in your approach, and love being part of high-performing, fun team.

Core Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following for two major events we host and produce annually for residential service businesses. Other duties may be assigned. Travel to meetings and for site visits is required 6+ times per year.

Sales Strategy and Operations

  • Lead annual meeting exhibit and sponsorship sales to meet or exceed defined revenue goals in line with the company strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to maintain and expand the company's growth and revenue goals, including creation of annual plans and sponsorship programs
  • Evaluate existing programs and initiatives for potential new sources of revenue
  • Grow sponsorship and exhibit program participation; develop prospects, engage in market research, and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new and innovative sponsorship opportunities and industry partnerships
  • Write and submit sponsorship proposals
  • Develop and update Exhibitor Prospectus as needed
  • Manage exhibitor database and profiles

Tracking and Reporting
  • Create and maintain annual calendar of sales activities, database of industry contacts and other relevant standard operating procedures and systems
  • Enter and maintain daily sales activity information (data) in company CRM
  • Provide regular tracking and reporting of development efforts in relation to achievement of revenue targets
  • Invoice and bill all booth and sponsorship revenue in a timely manner
  • Track and manage all sponsorship expenses
  • Communicate advertising, shipping, installation and teardown, and ordering deadlines to exhibitors and sponsors
  • Function as meeting resource for vendor partners

Industry Relationship Management
  • Manage external and internal exhibitors to execute show, parties, training and meetings flawlessly
  • Establish and nurture the development of relationships with industry liaisons, consultants and companies involved in providing products and services to residential service businesses
  • Engage industry leadership and staff executives in strategic dialogue designed to advance the company's mission and goals
  • Expand the meeting brand offerings
  • Work in collaboration with the Vice Presidents of Strategic Alliances and Marketing to maximize opportunities across the brands

Service Nation, Inc. is in Coppell near the north entrance of DFW. Our collaborative, open-plan office space is filled with high-energy, talented people who enjoy weekly lunches, and collaborating with their co-workers. We offer a hybrid work environment, though expect our team to commute to Coppell and work in-office Tuesday through Thursday each week.

Skills and experience we're seeking:
  • Planning, budgeting, trade show and sales experience is required
  • Proven track record of success in exhibit sales for B2B events
  • Knowledge and experience in reporting sales goals and progress
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations
  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally
  • Excellent interpersonal and (oral and written) communication skills with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, especially executive contacts
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Must be an enthusiastic self-starter and able to manage workload with minimal oversight
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Domestic travel will be required, approximately 10%

Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 per year, plus commission.
