Red River is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Residency Services candidate qualified and experienced, the Sr Systems Engineer will support our client site JBSA -Lackland AFB, TX. The overall team will be dedicated to overseeing the continuous flow that incorporates integration, delivery, testing, deployment, and monitoring, with the goal of delivering applications more quickly and easily. The team will handle issues surrounding automation and monitoring that makes it possible to release application updates more easily and frequently. The team will manage the DevSecOps stack across multiple security classifications from an application portfolio management perspective. Primary Position Tasks:

10+ years of experience with operating in a Dept. of Defense Engineering environment
Oversee, coordinate, and lead technical activities required to design, develop, and maintain military software systems capabilities.
Conceptualize total hours required for development efforts ensuring development standards are being adhered.
Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications.
Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics. Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action using application of engineering economy principles.
Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures. Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering systems.
Provide system/program engineering, technical support, and technical training to support programs/initiatives, including but not limited to acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight.
Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force SEAM processes.
Capable of performing problem/gap definition, trade space analysis, science, and technology roadmap analysis, "Set based design" for concept development, Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA) and cost versus capability trade off analysis.

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

Must have and be able to maintain an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Advanced degree (MA/MS) and/or 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD, or a BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 year must be in the DoD, or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 year must be in the DoD.
Ability to capture and synergize different pieces of software/hardware components; optimize solutions methods to improve current and future projects.
Ability to develop a highly productive working relationship with customers and teams across multiple programs.
Excellent communications skills; verbal and written.

Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):

This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday. [Lifting of up to x#, bending, frequent walking is required]

This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
