Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Oracle Cloud Analyst will be responsible for the on-going support and enhancement of TTX's Oracle Cloud SaaS applications, focused on ERP analytics, Cost Management, Project Costing, and Financial modules. This position on the Finance Systems Team will work closely with FP&A, Controllership, and Treasury, as well as partner with IT on delivering system solutions. A deep understanding of cost accounting and financial project management processes both conceptually and within the Oracle Cloud tools will help to identify efficiencies, insights, and best practices in these areas. This role requires hands-on experience with report development and a solid understanding of Oracle integrations between modules.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the on-going support and progression of the company's Oracle Cloud platform focused on advancing analytics/reporting, Cost Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Financial modules
  • Design, develop, and implement reports, dashboards, and KPIs utilizing Oracle reporting tools such as Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
  • Curate executive dashboards and data visualizations focused on generating business insights
  • Customize reports from out of the box/-prebuilt seeded reports
  • Understand Oracle data sources and relationships across modules
  • Understand dependencies and interrelationships among Cost Management, Supply Chain and Financials modules
  • Understand dependencies and interrelationships between PPM and all other integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules
  • Understand business processes, how the application supports the business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems
  • Work directly with users to provide Oracle expertise and thought leadership in order to optimize value from the system
  • Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality
  • Partner with Oracle Center of Excellence (CoE) members to identify opportunities to enhance the process and system, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas to the team
  • Execute Oracle quarterly upgrade testing and implement new Oracle Features
  • Engage with IT Managed Services on break-fix and enhancement solutions
  • Keep abreast of Oracle roadmap and key functionality to identify opportunities where it will enhance the current process within the entire Financials ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain company's Oracle training documents
  • Support and document configurations, customizations, reports, interfaces, testing and user training
  • Help to define and maintain a data governance process to provide stability and data integrity across financial systems

Qualifications: Required

  • 7+ years of experience as a resource implementing and supporting Oracle Business Intelligence tools, Oracle Cloud Cost Management, Oracle Cloud Project Management, and Oracle Cloud Financial modules: General Ledger, Assets, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, Advanced Collections
  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance degree preferred)
  • Hands-on experience building custom reports and analytics using tools such as Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
  • Cost accounting experience with ability to demonstrate strong understanding of inventory accounting and impact to Financials, Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules
  • Experience with the business processes in PPM, including but not limited to project planning, project budgeting, project execution, project financial management, and project costing
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal clients in an agile manner, leveraging design thinking approaches
  • Experience conducting testing (e.g., system, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing) and preparing deliverables, including design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration/procedural guides
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain system documentation, both functional and technical
  • Ability to support training of internal team members
  • Working knowledge of the functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting. Understanding of currency translations, inter-company eliminations, and consolidation accounting under various GAAPs
  • Committed to a continuous learning environment to build expertise in Oracle technologies
  • Ability to collaborate with other members of Finance, Operations and IT
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

Qualifications: Preferred

  • Oracle Cloud certifications
  • Experience leading a project and leading a project team
  • Experience as a cost analyst or cost accountant with knowledge of various costing methods
  • Experience as a project accountant utilizing Oracle PPM
  • Knowledge in Controllership processes, including account reconciliations, accounting operations, and month-end close, according to US GAAP
  • Change Management: Ability to help people and teams with the transition or transformation of an organization's or function's goals, processes, tools or technologies.
  • Process Mapping: Skills to visually describe the detailed flow of a process, using flowcharts.
  • Data Interpretation: Skills to correctly extract, analyze and intuit meaningful information or data from the various data sources, such as structured and unstructured dataset, charts, tables, graphs, etc.
  • MBA and/or CPA license
