Key responsibilities include:
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager for the Wireless Transport Sourcing Team. The Transport Sourcing Team is responsible for the sourcing & procurement of optical transport network providing connectivity to cell sites, data centers and interconnect platforms for its 5G network.
This team is a key component to the success of wireless buildout and requires an experienced leader to drive the standards for engineering excellence, cost, and capacity with vendors as radically disrupts the wireless industry landscape.

In this role, you will:

• Hire, develop, and manage a team of Transport Sourcing Managers
• Develop and lead the sourcing, contract management, negotiation and supplier management strategies and practices of the team
• Manage all aspects of transport "Request for Proposals", RFPs, to achieve best techno-commercial solution for
• Establish and manage to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assure cost and quality control and effective executive reporting
• Assess risk of potential and current vendors and develop risk mitigation strategies and business continuity plans
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

• The ability to work on-site in Littleton, CO working during core business hours of 9am - 5pm
• BS or MS in Engineering, Business, Finance, Legal or technical degree; or equivalent combination of wireless transport experience and education
• 5+ years of experience managing in a wireless/transport environment
• 5+ years of managing and negotiating transport RFP's
• Excellent negotiation skills and proven track record of decision making ability
• Technical understanding of transport networks
