Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Senior Manager, Creator & Influencer Operations

We're looking for a Senior Manager of Creator & Influencer Operations, who will be responsible for developing our business operational strategy and overall performance optimization for influencer and creator channels plus building and operationalizing full-funnel performance framework, including analytics, creator brand safety, and customer service.

You'll work closely with our Content & Influencer, Product, Social, & Strategic Partnerships teams, as well as leads across Marketing, Legal, Finance & Technology to foster and manage our creator relationships and influence the development of multiple platforms

Challenges you'll tackle:

  • As part of a growing team, you will drive business operations for creator roadmap, inclusive of strategy & framework, creator composite, and continued scale all while optimizing our efforts to define success
  • Work on one of the most entrepreneurial marketing roles at Walmart, expanding our creator ecosystem and solidifying our position as a leader in the content to commerce space
  • Be empowered to ideate creator best practices and processes, structure new relationships, and expand our partnership strategies


You'll make an impact by:
  • Drive business operations for creator & influencer channel, inclusive of iterative strategy & framework, learning agendas, full funnel P/L management, and activation.
  • Drive operational strategy for creator platform and third-party partners.
  • Build and operationalize full funnel framework that fully quantifies impact of creator & influencer efforts.
  • Full management of foundational components for how we will benchmark performance, including implementing tagging/tracking process for partners, onboarding, and commercial structure.
  • Manage expectations of senior leadership and executives, present key outcomes and plans for the future, liaise closely with all cross functional partners while doing so.
  • Manage all operational components of creator & influencer efforts, including driving thought leadership for program enhancements, partner and creator strategy based on key results.
  • Establish objectives, success benchmarks for both third-party and owned-creator platform efforts.
  • Partner with creator and influencer team members to evaluate and optimize creator-specific performance.
  • Liaise with legal and finance on creator contracts and payments.
  • Establish processes for the team around ways we work with cross functional partners.
  • Drive engagement and conversion based growth objectives via customer acquisition/retention and sales, brand favorability and perception shift for key categories, plus ongoing and iterative business cases for the future.
  • Partner closely with creator, influencer, & cross-functional teams including analytics to drive programs forward and adopt standardized operational framework.
  • Diversify creator and influencer efforts
  • Accurately forecast economics of creator efforts, maximizing chance of success and minimizing risk to the business.
  • Leverage data, insights and measurement to constantly optimize, as well as socialize and advocate insights and broader strategy internally to stakeholders and leadership.


You'll sweep us off our feet if you have:
  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience in a related area (e.g. Partnership or Business Development, Influencer Marketing/Advertising/Digital, Social, Media, Operations, Project Management) Bonus: Analytics
  • Deep expertise in Influencer marketing, especially social players/networks and how creators are using them
  • Experience with cutting-edge social commerce efforts
  • Established industry relationships and experience working with executive level business and marketing leaders within client organizations, particularly across media, retail, and/or e-commerce.
  • Effective communication skills - you're equally comfortable hopping on the phone with a new potential partner, meeting them in person, or following up (with a "make things happen" attitude)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with eye towards building new processes and frameworks that enable efficiency and scalability
  • Builder mentality, ability to build programs from the ground up and self-start with little direction

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and 3 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 5 years' experience in marketing or related field.
