The Sr. Director of Finance, Real Estate, Loss Prevention & Corporate Administration is a critical role accountable for the oversight and active management of portfolio projects and ensuring high quality, consistent support for all information technology systems in the Enterprise Engineering technology footprint. This includes responsibility for cloud configuration and cloud console engineering and leading database organizational teams.

The role is responsible to the development and maintenance of a Technology Roadmap that reflects directional investments required to support business and technology strategies including desired capabilities for both the short and long terms. This role will be responsible for managing business demand for projects and services and will serve as an advocate for the business areas assigned, escalating issues as appropriate and ensuring business priorities are understood through day to day support activities and in more strategic forums where business strategy influences technology investments and decision making.

This individual is accountable for ensuring overall project delivery, schedule and budget attainment, and effective management of business user expectations in achieving overall desired outcomes, results and deliverables including overseeing all enterprise-wide and global project initiatives. End-to-end project lifecycle oversight and management which includes all phases; discovery, requirements gathering in partnership with Business function teams, project planning, design, build, testing, deployment and effective transition to production support.

What You'll Do

  • Provides leadership and budget oversight, direction and monitoring of the performance of dedicated technical project and support teams in the US and India within each of the corporate place mats assigned. Teams are comprised of on-shore and off-shore application development, project and support resources that ensure optimal delivery/support of IT solutions across multiple corporate functions.
  • Leads database organizational teams in improving performance and database configurations for the SaaS, on premise and Cassandra based applications.
  • Learns and quickly understands new technology platforms. Finds innovation and optimization opportunities from current systems and platforms.
  • Facilitate delivery partnership through the right level of planning, coordination, alignment and leadership visibility occurs to ensure on-time, on budget delivery of initiatives
  • Participate in continuous technical delivery improvement efforts by providing input into an enterprise framework for program management aligned with modern agile, lean and design thinking practices
  • Maintains overall financial and milestone status of business capability across the technical teams and provide visibility across investment portfolio ensuring planned scope, priority, risk, milestone and financial changes are surfaced in a timely manner, ensures strategies and recommendations for addressing each are provided and result in aligned decisions
  • Provide timely visibility of critical business-impacting technology issues to business and technology leaders to ensure business-impacting issues are communicated in business language and provide coordination to ensure ongoing status is communicated and contingency option.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years of progressive management experience in an IT specialty retail environment with proven project management experience of complex IT projects, including implementation within short timeframes
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of complex cloud configurations including Golden Gate and cloud console engineering as well as deep end to end technical knowledge in Oracle Retail Revenue and Financial platforms.
  • Current industry knowledge of relevant technology including Salesforce as well as Real Estate, Corporate Administration and Human Capital Management applications
  • Experience managing large programs or a portfolio of projects and global organization such as in India.
  • Proven experience delivering both package and custom-developed software
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern software development and infrastructure tools, processes and practices, including Agile Development, Cloud, DevOps
  • Creative and flexible mindset to planning and problem-solving, ability to lean into the details while maintaining the "big picture"
  • Strength in building partnerships; working collaboratively in a matrix, proven influencing skills
  • High degree of financial acumen - proven track record of planning and executing on the financial aspect of deliverables
  • Demonstrated track record of aligning IT objectives and programs to business objectives and strategies
  • A highly service-orientated approach with a track record of delivery and client satisfaction
  • Ability to manage large global teams and demonstrated ability to develop and grow leaders
  • Proven ability to provide executive level communication and risk assessments
  • Strong executive presence and experience advising and interfacing with senior executives and business leadership on technology related issues, excellent executive-level verbal and written communication

Salary Range: $213,500 - $293,600 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
