Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Allentown, PA. This person will report into the Corporate Controller and will support operational accounting, internal controls and technical accounting. Main Duties:

• Leading monthly financial close activities including generation of journal entries, intercompany, and expense analysis
• Analyze and monitor internal controls
• Maintain GAAP and technical accounting compliance
• Apply SOX controls and coordinating audit procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA degree in a related field
• 4-7 years related accounting and analysis experience
• CPA or public accounting background is desired
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Understanding of SOX and internal controls
