Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Cradlepoint has an immediate opening for an IAM Security Engineer within Global Information Security. This role will support the improvement of IAM lifecycle management and the overall maturation of the IAM tools and processes across the enterprise. This role will be the focal point for IAM issues throughout the organization and will consist of the day-to-day administration of all deployed IAM and PAM tools.

The successful candidate must have the ability to gather requirements from various business units and organizations and translate them into implementation plans that leverage existing or new technologies to enhance and automate existing business practices. The successful candidate must also be self-motivated, require minimal supervision, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and be a team player with an "I Care" attitude.

You must be able to take your experience and knowledge of systems administration and IT security to the next level and work with a world class team to deliver on the operational goal of supporting the operational growth and resilience along with management visibility of Cradlepoint's overall IT functions. You will be expected to be a proactive worker and generate solutions that enhance the business they support-occasional user support and periodic on-call duty, including nights and weekends, as required.

What Will You Do?

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on IAM strategy and roadmap designs.
  • Participate and advise on the technical requirements and solutions to support strong identity and access control throughout the enterprise.
  • Lead projects related to IAM/PAM and participate in projects related to other security engagements.
  • Develop trust relationships with business partners and technical teams to address and simplify complex identity lifecycle issues.
  • Serve as Primary Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IAM/PAM solutions across the enterprise.
  • Maintain and document configurations of Identity and Access Management solutions (current state) and propose same for the desired future state to align with corporate policy and compliance objectives.
  • Integrate IAM/PAM solutions with third-party systems and applications as necessary.
  • Implement the enterprise-wide strategy and key initiatives/projects focused on improving the business value, resilience, and operational agility within Cradlepoint under the direction of the Director, Security Engineering.
  • Assist in developing solutions and solving complex/unique problems concerning Cradlepoint's infrastructure.
  • Assist in executing departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities, and contribute to the IT and infrastructure security strategy.
  • Work with IT and business teams to develop solutions that address root causes
  • Utilize existing tools and processes to extend coverage, increase effectiveness and expand capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively identify, evaluate and communicate new and ongoing issues or areas of concern.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five (5+) years of relevant experience to this role
  • Five (5+) years of relevant working experience in the domains of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and/or Privileged Access Management (PAM), including:
  • Experience with market-leading IAM technologies (Okta/Duo/Ping/etc.)
  • Experience with market-leading PAM technologies (Cyberark/BeyondTrust/etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Hybrid Active Directory, Conditional Access, GPO, SSO, MFA, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, RADIUS, 802.1x, and Kerberos
  • Experience with the creation and customization of complex workflows and custom workflow activities
  • Experience using REST APIs and automating integrations between systems
  • Possess strong technical skills and comprehension of IT concepts & solutions
  • Understanding of core infrastructure troubleshooting methodologies and process
  • Can work on complex projects and with diverse teams
  • Provide original solutions to complex problems with the ability to advise and recommend advanced technical approaches and solutions
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT & Security staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
