Position Summary

The SAP FICO Lead must possess in-depth knowledge of master data, configuration, and transactions supporting Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, COPA, and Revenue Recognition in SAP ECC 6.0. Must also have a thorough understanding of cross module dependencies (SD, MM, WM, PP). The analyst will be required to have a strong business knowledge of manufacturing processes.The SAP FICO Lead will interface with SAP team members and business partners to determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach utilizing hands on configuration experience in solution delivery within the SAP CO module. Experience with integrating to SAP WM, MM, PP, SD and FI is preferred. Experience must include designing, building and implementing functional solutions supporting Controlling processes in SAP, including integration with other solutions. The SAP Business Analyst must collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and business partners to design, build, maintain, and enhance existing applications and develop new ones per business requirements.Possess advanced SAP CO configuration and overall SAP product knowledge and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization.
Essential Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance CO-PA functional solutions leveraging SAP FICO and other system integrations where necessary.
• Develop system features as per business requirements and create documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test planning and execution
• Collaborate with functional and IT technical teams and Business SMEs to realize solutions for cross-functional areas (either integration with other SAP modules or external systems)
• Support IT lead in communicating and obtaining buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for SAP FICO design (covering people, process, and technology)
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance is maintained for all supported systems.
• Deliver solutions that can be scaled globally and maximize value and minimize duplication of solutions.
• Find new areas where standard solutions could be deployed

Position Requirements

This role requires excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with both business and technical teams. For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in a global enterprise delivering ERP solutions as well as 5+ years of hands-on expertise working within SAP CO-PA and associated modules with a strong background in ERP application development, customizing and operation
• Proven strong abilities in design, build, and monitoring of SAP configurations across multiple systems
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimum supervision
• Strong analytical thinking, self-motivated, result-oriented team player having a track record of timely, high-quality deliverables
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills; strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills
• Interface with business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology
• Assist in defining technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality
• Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners
• Approximately 10-15% of travel is expected with slight increases as needed to meet specific project milestones

Minimum professional and educational background desired

• Finance Degree preferred and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without close guidance or supervision
• Maintain standard operating procedures and documentation
