The Baer Group is looking for SAP Direct Tax Consultant for a 12+ month remote project.

Title: SAP Direct Tax Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Direct Tax Consultant- Part of Global Design Team for ERP Transformation to the new digital Platform Ability to work effectively with SI as the deployment transitions from Explore to Build phase.

Requirements:

• SAP Model Company (Multi National or Oil and Gas) Best Practices Experience (preferable) S/4 HANA 1909 or higher experience would be preferred SAP Activate Methodology Additional experience in S/4 HANA OP and Cloud environments preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Support SAP Led Fit to Standard workshops to prescribe standard SAP business process and solutions to drive customer to standard Advise and guide customer and SI on S4 Best Practices/Model Company for direct Tax requirements/capabilities
• Oil & Gas experience is recommended and preferred.
• Specific Skills include: Experience in the following tax areas:

DART

Property Tax

3rd party Property Tax Tool Avalara

Corporate Income Tax

State Income Tax

Provisioning

Assets & Tax Implications

3rd party tool Corp Tax

SAP PAPM with transfer pricing
