Baer is looking for an SAP Asset Management Consultant for a 9+ month Federal remote project.

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Project Overview:

Our client is currently working with a major branch of the DoD to continue modernization of their critical Financial and Procurement systems. Specifically, the program is tasked with moving various client operations onto a single instance SAP ERP platform across standard reporting, Budgeting, GL, and related feeder systems. This is a multi-year program encompassing large scale teams working on SAP ERP Requirements Definition, Legacy System Transition to SAP, Training & Change Management, and Sustainment Support. The SAP solution scope includes DoD specific processes aligned with SAP ECC solution components across FI, CO, FM, PS, AM, WFM, MM/IM, WM, SD.

Description:

• Lead and provide expert guidance on the implementation and optimization of SAP Asset Management solutions, specifically focusing on the Federal A2D process.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define requirements, develop strategies, and deliver SAP solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support the deployment of functional and technical subject-matter expertise in asset management within State or Federal Government agencies, or in large, complex organizations (1,000+ employees).
• Lead business systems modernization projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and government regulations.
• Provide expert advice on financial management, business systems, or accounting related to asset management within SAP environments.
• Oversee project teams, ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions on time and within budget.
• Engage with clients to ensure their needs are met, providing ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Asset Management systems.

Requirements:

• Recognized expertise in financial management, business systems, or accounting, with a specific focus on asset management.
• Proven experience in supporting State or Federal Government agencies or large organizations, particularly in the deployment of SAP Asset Management solutions.
• Senior Level (SME) role requiring a minimum of 9+ years of relevant SAP experience, including at least 6 years of experience leading business systems modernization/sustainment and related projects.
• In-depth understanding of the Federal Acquire to Dispose (A2D) process.
• Previous experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) is required.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Industry professional certification is required.
• Bachlores Degree
