*Salary:* $55K - 75K + stock and bonus

What You Will Be Doing - Develop and maintain comprehensive sanitation programs and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality assurance requirements
- Lead the implementation of effective cleaning and sanitation practices across all areas of the facility, including production, storage, and shipping.
- Conduct regular sanitation audits to assess and improve the cleanliness and safety of the production environment, equipment, and tools.
- Manage the training and development of sanitation staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
What You Need for this Position Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or related field and 5+ years experience in food industry sanitation
- 3 years in Management
- Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and HACCP regulations and food safety standards
- Experience with sanitation practices and procedures, including chemical handling, CIP systems, and ATP swabbing
- Experience with Third Party Chemical Providers
- Sanitary Design Reviews
- Developing Cleaning SSOPs and maintaining Sanitation documents
- Knowledge of FSMA Sanitation Protocols
