A reputable nonprofit is hiring Recovery Support Technicians to serve their patient population.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Business Hours
Compensation: Based on experience
QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES:
- Experience, Competencies and Education.
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Knowledge and proficiency in issues related to addiction, recovery and mental health.
- Language Skills:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and abilities and be able to communicate appropriately and effectively in sensitive and/or demanding situations. Must demonstrate the ability to professionally represent Volunteers of America, and effectively interact with multi-cultural and diverse populations.
- Other Certificates and Licensures:
Must hold a valid driver's license.
CSR/Certified Recovery Specialist or CHW/Certified Healthcare Worker or RC/Recovery Coach certification preferred.
