*Location:* Dayton, OH 45414
*Salary: $75,000 - $85,000*

Founded 1970s we are a 100+ employee manufacturer that handles the design & build of special machines, gauges & fixtures for the industrial manufacturing industry. Services such as precision machining, grinding, CNC boring, fabrication, re-tooling and inspection are all common within our organization. For this Quality Engineer position you will be supporing aerospace projects with the newly established AS13100 guidelines. Having a good grasp of *Minitab & AS9100 for aerospace* are big components of this position.
What You Will Be Doing 1) Support & maintain the site Quality Management System to maintain ISO9001:2015, AS9100D & AS13100 implementation
2) Assist in monitoring & maintenance of AS9100D quality management system
3) Interface w/ engineering & sales to ensure transfer to production, of new products, in accordance w/ customer specific requirements
4) Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) activity adhering to AS9102
What You Need for this Position 1) Associates / Bachelors in Engineering
2) Aerospace exposure in a machining manufacturing environment (ideal)
*3) Minitab 21 & Sharepoint are a big plus*
4) Knowledge of AS9100D, FMEA, PPAP & SPC problem-solving tools
5) Familiar w/ reading drawings & using inspection tools
