Purchasing Manager *Title:* Purchasing Manager - Automotive Industry
*Location:* Dayton, OH 45414
*Salary: $75,000 - $90,000*

Founded in 1991 we are a tier 1 & tier 2 supplier for vehicle manufacturers, automotive suppliers and OEM in other industrial sectors. Our primary product line consists of prototyping, tube bending, welding, stamping, assembly & fabrication of metal components for the automotive, transportation and OEM markets. We have the immediate need for a Purchasing Manager with exposure to the automotive industry to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing 1) Ensure raw material supply & cost objectives are met by controlling inventories
2) Investigate variances from planned targets & establish their root cause & implement corrective actions
3) Work w/ sales & marketing on pricing for quotes
4) Facilitate production schedule & review supplier performance / quality in accordance w/ IATF
5) Conduct supplier audits & identify supply chain risk by assessing vendor & supplier capabilities
What You Need for this Position 1) BS in Logistics, Science, Electrical, Mechanical or related field experience in lieu of degree
2) 4+ years of automotive exposure for purchasing
3) Strong MS Office suite (Excel, Word & MRP)
