Property Manager We are a well established real estate firm with offices all in Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis who focus on both Commercial and Residential Property investment and management. Right now we are looking for BOTH a Commercial and Residential Property Manager in Milwaukee! If you have experience in either of these fields, please, waste no time in applying!
What You Will Be Doing -Maintain property rentals by filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.
-Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
-Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
-Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs
-Maintain building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
-Enforce occupancy policies and procedures
-Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
What You Need for this Position -2-3 years of experience in Commercial or Residential Property Management
- Familiarity with Property Management Software (I.e. Yardi)
-Motivation for sales
-Negotiation
-Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
-High level of organization and attention to detail
-Competence with office management software
-Professionalism
-Internal communications
