About the Job

The project manager contributes to the success of Camp Bow Wow by leading cross-departmental projects to deliver comprehensive programs, services and platforms that drive profit and efficiency for our franchise system and for Camp Bow Wow as a whole. There will be a focus on the overall success of highly visible and prioritized efforts, and you will own and drive overall organization, tracking and management of core initiatives for the business. This position requires strong leadership skills, the capability to lead effective project teams, and a results-driven attitude.

A large portion of the projects that this individual will be assisting will be IT related, and therefore knowledge of software development processes and systems is crucial for this individual's success.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to develop and implement new programs, services, and platforms in accordance with overall organizational goals.
  • Establish and manage project schedules, progress, and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain, adjust and update project scope as needed. Consolidate, communicate and ensure resolution on all issues.
  • Operate with clear understanding of the business strategic objective and all teams needs.
  • Lead initiatives through all stages (project establishment through launch) driving readiness and timely completion of all key milestones.
  • Analyze problems, identify issue, summarize findings and recommend course of action.
  • Effectively document and communicate information to senior leadership team to enable sound business decisions and taking calculated risks.
  • Translate business strategies into clear initiative action plans.
  • Develop strong partnerships at all levels across the franchise system, the corporate office, and with external vendors.
  • Document and manager project status reports that are relevant, transparent, and add value.
  • Work independently with limited day-to-day guidance from management.

Essential Skills

The Franchise Opening -must be extremely organized, vigilant, be a team player, and possess excellent written and spoken communication skills. Additionally, the Project Manager must have strong persuasion and negotiation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A great attitude is a MUST!

  • Bachelor's Degree with professional experience in a business environment - 5 years
  • Experience in project management with demonstrated success in leading teams and managing projects - 3 years
  • Business acumen with the ability to quickly identify risks and opportunities
  • Ability to establish cross functional. Collaborative relationships with business leaders
  • Agility to balance multiple priorities and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Motivated self-starter that works independently: highly productive and efficient.
  • Franchise experience preferred
  • Technology project management experience using Agile methodology preferred
  • MUST LOVE DOGS!

Availability

Full time, hourly position. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. at the Corporate Office in Westminster, CO. Attendance at evening and weekend events will be required from time to time. Business travel may be required occasionally.
